Kristofer Åström é o vocalista e guitarrista do Fireside. Em 1998 ele lançou o primeiro cd do seu projeto solo, Kristofer Åström & Hidden Truck, e hoje já tem mais de oito albuns e eps gravados. O seu quinto cd, So Much For Staying Alive, tem músicas que soam como uma mistura de folk e pop, bem diferente do Fireside. Já no último album, lançado em abril desse ano e sem os Hidden Trucks, Kristofer segue uma linha mais rock e pop, com músicas mais calmas e as vezes até tristes demais. As artes do cd e do single Just a Little Insane ficaram bonitas demais.
